Emergency Repair Hickam AFB. Feeding new HDPE into the access pit. Pneumatic hose powering the bursting head runs inside the new pipe Bursting head in action.

Established in 1988, Alline has a long history of successful Trenchless utility installations in Hawaii. Alline has used Pipe Bursting to tackle a number of technically challenging projects to replace existing pipelines and to install new systems. Pipe Bursting minimizes surface disruptions and the social costs associated with extensive excavations in heavily traffic areas.

Pipe Bursting used in conjunction with horizontal directional drilling can install new sewer line into existing manholes without any excavation required around the manhole, with only one access pit.

Pipe Bursting can straighten short lengths of sagging sections in existing pipe. The length of the bursting head determines the extent of the straightening possible. Bursting heads up to 10-feet long are available straightening sags up to 6-feet long.

Other Advantages Include:

Upsizing: replacement pipe can be larger than original

Structural Integrity: complete replacement with new pipe

Lower Costs: reduced restoration costs, shorter construction duration

Reduced Impacts: on traffic, business and the public.

Environmentally Friendly: install beneath buildings, roads and parks

Increased Safety: less excavation equals more safety
